Panama City has a big event today. World of Coffee Panama is the first World of Coffee event held in Latin America.

The event brings coffee growers, buyers, baristas, and coffee fans together at the Panama Convention Center in Amador. The event runs from October 23 through October 25.

What Is World of Coffee Panama?

It is a large coffee trade show. The official event site says more than 13,000 visitors and more than 370 exhibitors are expected.

People can meet coffee producers from Panama, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Panama is known for its Geisha coffee, grown in the highlands of Chiriquí.

The event also includes coffee education, business meetings, product displays, and the World Barista Championship.

Where Is It?

The event is at the Panama Convention Center on the Amador Causeway.

The official address is Calle Gral. Juan D. Perón, Panama City. The center is close to the Panama Canal and the Biomuseo.

Can Visitors Still Go Today?

Yes. Today, October 25, is the final listed event day. Tickets are available through the official event ticket page, but check the page before you leave because entry rules and availability can change.

Plan extra time. A large event can mean longer lines, busy taxis, and more traffic near Amador. Leave early and keep your ticket ready on your phone.

How Can You Get There?

The event’s travel page says Panama City has several ways to move. These include the Metro, public buses, taxis, and ride services.

Amador is not next to Tocumen Airport. If you are arriving today, allow time to get from the airport to your hotel and then to the Convention Center.

Do not plan a tight schedule between the airport, the event, and a flight. Rain or traffic can slow the trip.

Is There a Flight Discount?

The official travel page lists a Copa Airlines discount for eligible participants. The listed travel dates are October 20 through November 10, 2026. The code shown is C9719.

The page says the discount may be up to 15% off airfare. It does not apply to every fare, and taxes and fees are not included. Check the full rules with Copa before booking.

The same page lists a United Airlines code, ZSSP, with discounts from 2% to 7% on some published fares. Check the airline rules before you buy.

What Else Can You Do in Amador?

Amador is more than the event venue. The area is near the Biomuseo, the Panama Canal, and the Causeway waterfront.

If you have extra time, choose one nearby activity instead of trying to see all of Panama City in one afternoon. The heat and rain can make a long walking plan tiring.

For a first visit, keep your valuables close and use a trusted ride service after dark. Ask your hotel about the best way back.

Could This Matter to Future Residents?

Yes. A major event shows how Panama City can bring together visitors, business people, and local communities.

It also gives you a chance to see Amador and the Convention Center before choosing where to stay or live. Pay attention to travel time, traffic, heat, rain, and the areas you enjoy.

The Bottom Line

World of Coffee Panama is a real, timely reason to visit Amador today. It is also an easy way to see Panama’s coffee culture and a busy part of Panama City.

Check the official ticket page, plan for traffic, and allow extra time. If you miss this year’s event, the official site is still useful for learning about future editions and coffee trips in Panama.
